Cultural & Heritage Classes – Baal Vikaas

Children learn about Hindu values, traditions, festivals, bhajans, and basic shlokas in a fun and respectful environment.

Kathak Dance Classes

Join us for weekly classical Kathak dance classes guided by the renowned Shri Hemant Panwar — an immersive journey into rhythm, devotion, and graceful expression.

Rooted in tradition and spiritual discipline, these classes are open to all who wish to experience the divine through movement.

Volunteer with us

At Jai Durga Temple, our activities are powered by the spirit of selfless service (Seva). Whether it’s helping during temple events, managing offerings, serving prasadam, or maintaining the temple space — every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

We welcome devotees, families, students, and community members to volunteer with us. Your time and energy help keep the temple vibrant and connected.

Yoga Classes

Gentle yoga practice led by experienced instructors to promote flexibility, breathwork, and inner peace.

JDHSS and Hindu Youth Alliance (HYA)

The Hindu Youth Alliance (HYA), an affiliated organization of Jai Durga Hindu Society of Scarborough (JDHSS), is dedicated to empowering and engaging youth through meaningful programs and community service.
