Program Purpose:
Cultural awareness and tradition are essential in helping young children develop a positive sense of identity and build self-esteem. Studies show that cultural appreciation and understanding contribute to building a strong self-image. Culture and tradition offer a sense of belonging and comfort, serving as an anchor that connects individuals to their roots.
Teaching about cultures is important because it helps us learn about others. Though people are born across different regions with diverse customs, we all share the same human origins. By embracing these differences and passing down our values and traditions, we help children understand and respect both their own culture and others’.
Schedule and Duration:
Weekly cultural classes are held every Sunday between September and June. Classes are not offered in July and August.
